About Us

Batleth Records is a young and independent record label.

We have decided to add a new challenge to the long time experience we have in the music business; our own label project. We give you the possibility to share our knowledge and experiences from the music business and work together towards a successful future.

Focused on the independent music sector, we have over 10 years of practical knowledge in the production of EBM, Electro, Wave and Futurepop projects.

In a close collaboration with our artists we create specialized concepts, break new grounds and aim to stand out from the crowd. Together we create a complete strategy – starting with the music, the merchandise and last but not least the online marketing.

Philosophy

Over the last years the music business has suffered from reducing sales volumes of CD:s and DVD:s due to illegal downloads and pirate copying. Even the new digital medias (e.g. mp3) have been negatively affected by this. This causes the collapse of many music companies and their ability to support new musicians. Most labels are now focused on rapid success rather than a continuous development of their acts. For all newcomers in the music business it is a difficult task to organise their own business, managing the contact with event organisers, handling the promotion and the needed logistics related to music business.

Batleth Records will support and help you with all this. Except for having the knowledge in producing and studio work, we also have the necessary contacts to event organisers and help you promote your band in all sorts of different media.

We are no competitor for the major labels and neither do we wish to be one. We are not focused on the mass market but rather on the small independent scene. But never the less our artists can trust on our support, we want partnership and not only commercial success.
